Born 2-23-1911-Died 11-23-1988 Booker Vannie Fortune Booker, 77, of Pensacola, died Wednesday, Nov. 23, 1988. Services, 2 p.m. Friday, Harper-Morris. Vannie Fortune Booker Vannie Fortune Booker, 77, of Pensacola died Wednesday morning in a local hospital. Ms. Booker was born in Holt, Fla. but lived in Pensacola most of her life. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Survivors include: three sons & daughters-in-law, Millard and Betty Booker, Jimmie and Bobbie Booker, Nubbie and Barbara Booker all of Pensacola; daughter, Debbie Rudd of Pensacola; brother Tom Fortune of Crestview; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday in Harper-Morris Chapel with the Rev. Ronald Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in Clopton Cemetery. Arrangements are by Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday.
