Jordan was burned while installing a transformer on a pole on the campus of Charles Henderson High School. The accident occurred when a support brace for a cross arm broke causing the cross carrying a 7,200 volt line to swing down on Jordan. He fell and was lodged between two dead transformers. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 4 o'clock at Enon Baptist Church with Rev. J. C. Anderson and Elder Gilbert Walker officiating. The body will lie in state at the church from three until four. Burial will be in Enon cemetery with McGehee Funeral Home directing. Survivors include the wife, Mrs. Ocie M. Jordan of Troy: parents, Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Jordan, Sr. of Ansley: two sisters, Mrs. Sara Rollins, of Dearborn, Michigan: Mrs. Robbie Mae Sessions, of Abiano, Italy: four brothers, St. Sgt. Rex Jordan of Waco, Texas: Virgil Jordan Jr., of Grady, Route 1: Walter Jordan of Eufaula: Elvin B. Jordan, Lackland, AFB, Texas: several nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers are Ferris Cleckler, James Wood, Carvel Anderson, Oree Grimes, Chester McLendon, Phillip Rutherford, Herbert Youngblood, Kenneth Law. **Notes** Mrs. Ocie M. Jordan is Mamie Sue McLendon daughter of William D. McLendon and Flossie Estelle Renfroe. Chester McLendon is Chester D. son of Emmett Samuel McLendon and Mollie Anna Lou McLendon
