Dykes Services Held At Mossey Grove
Mrs. Metta E. Dykes, 75, Rt 2 Troy, died Tuesday at a local hospital. Services
were held Thursday from the Chapel of McGehee-Dillard Funeral Home with Rev.
William Parson officiating. Burial followed in the Mossey Grove Cemetery.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Jane D. Stinson, Theodore; one son,
William I. Dykes, Rt. 2 Troy; sister, Mrs. Genie Fryer, Rt. 2 Troy; one brother,
James M. Ellis, Crestview, Fla.; eight grandchildren and eight
great-grandchildren.
Active pallbearers were Bruce Stinson, Mark Stinson, Limbo Mobley, James
Harelson, Billy Gibson, William Barbaree and Kenneth Renfroe.
