Mrs. Vicky McLendon Dies After A Long Illness
Mrs Vicky McLendon, 66, of Banks, Ala. died at the home of her daughter, 
Mrs Deal Stewart on Goshen, Route 2, Sunday morning after a long illness.
Survived by her husband I. E. McLendon, of Banks; five sons, Robert Z., of 
Atlanta, GA.; W. C. Pascagoula, Miss; Edgar of Troy, Ala, Clifton and Reuben 
of Phenix City, Ala. two daughters, Mrs Deal Stewart, of Goshen, Route 2 and 
Mrs Cora Mathews, of Banks, Ala. nineteen grand and two great-grandchildren; 
one sister, Mrs Mattie Collins, of Mount Vernon, Texas; one half-sister, 
Mrs Colon Armstrong, of Wilkinstown, Ala. two half-brothers, W. E. Reynolds, 
of Phenix City, Ala. and Ralph Reynolds of Wilkinstown, Ala.
Funeral services were held from Banks Baptist Church today at 3:30 o'clock 
with Rev. Lon Renfroe officiating. Burial followed in Banks Cemetery, with 
McGehee Funeral Home directing.
