Services Set For J. M. Rushing
J. M. Rushing age 76 of Ansley Route 2 died in a local hospital Monday
night.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 11:00 o'clock at the
Hales Chapel with Rev. Ed Hargrove officiating. Burial will follow in
the church cemetery. McGehee Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include the widow Mrs. Eula Spivey Rushing of Ansley Route 2.
Six sons, Mitchell, Carter, Frank and Reynolds Rushing of Ansley Route
2; James Rushing, Greenville, Miss. and John Henry Rushing of
Birmingham.
Six daughters, Mrs. Sara Barker, Fort Benning, Ga.; Mrs. Mae Graves of
Warner Robbins, Ga.; Mrs. Emily Redmon, Columbus, Ga.; Mrs. Margaret
Wilkes of Birmingham; Mrs. Mary Motes and Mrs. Shirley Renfroe of Troy.
22 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren. Two brothers, Oscar Rushing,
Atmore and Tom Rushing of Ansley, Route 2. One sister Miss Claudie Lee
Rushing of Tuscaloosa.
