FORTUNE
Bobby Shiver Fortune, 58 of Alford, passed away 
April 18, 2000 at his residence. He had
been a resident of Alford since 1989, coming from 
Collin County Texas. He was of the Holiness faith.
Funeral services were April 20th at the Wachob Chapel 
with the Rev. J. W. Hunt officiating.
Burial followed in the Round Lake Cemetery with Brown 
Funeral Home directing.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Kay McCroam.
Survivors include his sons: Bob Baxia, Jr of Alford, 
William Fortune of Alford, daughters:
Roberta Anderson of Alford, Beth Pratt of Panama City, 
Penny Fortune of Chipley, brothers:
James Fortune of Round Lake, Jerry Fortune of Panama City, 
sisters: Faye Harrison of Round
Lake and nine grandchildren.

*Bobby Shiver Fortune was the son of Freely Fortune & 
Penny Lee Tillery.
*Monester Fortune Cook was a sister to Freely Fortune. 
Their parents were Lela Collins and Abner Fortune.

Lela Kay Fortune b. 9-14-1938 d. 10-19-1989 married 
Thomas W McCroan 8-12-1955 in Jackson Co, Fl.

Jerry Lyn Fortune married Nellie Marie Mayo 10-20-1962 in Jackson Co, Fl.
James Fortune married Gladys Barnes from Round Lake.
