July 7 1875 when about 15 he was converted and united with the church. In 1852 received into the FL conf until the close of 1861, conf records lost prevents us from tracing his honored and beloved brother through these nine years of ministerail labor and unfulness.(this was because he serve in the Civil War, was elected tax collector of Wallaka Co. FL. and I have his Lucina's Widows pension from FL. with ref #). In 1869 readmitted a member of the conf served on the following appointments: Bethel Circuit, Crawfordville Circuit and Sumter Circuit, during the latter part of his first year on Sumter Circuit he was attacked with bronchial infection, but it was hoped that he would still be able to remain on the active list. He was reappointed to the Sumter Circuit the following year his health gradually failed, by the Annual Conf he was uttertly disabled and consequently was placed upon the superannated list. In 1874 pulomonary consumption began to waste his vital forces. His faith never waviered and he endured his afflictions with full resignation to the Devine will. written by Chas. A.
