Catherine A. Baker
Catherine A. Scott, daughter of Wm C. and Elizabeth Baker, lived to be 102 years old. She and her husband, Benjamin Frank Scott, lived near the Stowe Ferry in Youngville (Alexander City, Alabama), until sometime after 1870 when they moved to the Sand Mountain region in North Alabama. After the death of Benjamin Frank Scott on April 13, 1905, at Sand Mountain, Dawson, Alabama, Catherine lived with her son, John Scott. She died at Covington County, Alabama, in 1942.
