Mr. Boutwell's death was sudden he having suffered a stroke of apoplexy of some kinder disease, about seven hours before. Mr Boutwell was an Ex Confederate Solider, having been in Co. I 4th Batallion of the Alabama Cavalry. in Capt. A. P. Love's troop. He served through the Virginia campaign. Mr. Boutwell was sixty-three years old, his last birthday being the 24th of March. He leaves an invalid wife and four grown and married children, two sons and two daughters. Mr. Boutwell was a member of the Masonic fraternity. His burial will occur with Masonic honors at Spring Hill tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock. His death is muvh regretted by his many friends. Additional Comments: Holly Boutwell served first as Pvt, Co A, (A.P. Love's) 4th Bn, Ala Cav; proceeding to Va shortly after it was formed, the band became a part of the Jeff Davis Legion, Miss Cav, a part of Robt E. Lee's Army of Northern Virginia; Holly served in Co H of the Legion; he would have been but 17 years of age at enlistment.
