The graveside service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Enon Baptist Church cemetery in Josie, Ala. Born in Banks, Ala., Mr. Renfroe was an arbitrator for Amalgamated Clothing & Textile Workers Union. He was a graduate of Columbus, Ga., High School and Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, a member of the American Legion and a Navy veteran of World War II. Surviving are two sons, Dennis Renfroe of Charlotte and Mark Righter of Virginia Beach, Va.; two daughters, Patricia Roof of Valdosta, Ga., and Janet Beach of Charlotte; three brothers, Colbert Renfroe, of Union County, N.C., Jerry Renfroe of Columbus, Ga. and William Koon of Anaheim,Calif.; three sisters, Mary Fincey of Eldersburg, Md., Lynette Gatlin of Fortson, Ga., and Genie King of Georgia; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Hankins and Whittington Funeral Home in Charlotte.
