Funeral Held For Elonzo Ward

Elonzo Ward, age 92 of Troy Rt.. 4, died in a local hospital last night.
Funeral services were held this afternoon at 4 p.m. at Hephzibah Church
with the Rev. Ronnie Jackson officiating. Burial will be in
the adjoining cemetery with McGehee Funeral Home in charge.
Remains will lie in state at the church from 3:30 until 4 o'clock.
Survivors include two sons, J. C. and Charlie Ward; three
daughters, Miss Carrie Ward, Miss Lola Ward, Miss Bertha Ward all of the Troy area;
one brother, Will Ward of Red Level; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
