Death of Mrs. McLendon
Banks, AL. April 21 Yesterday afternoon at 5 o'clock, Mrs Elizabeth McLendon, 
wife of John McLendon, near Banks, died of pneumonia after a brief illness 
of six days. She was a loving mother, a devoted wife and true christian, 
being a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church at this place. She leaves 
a husband, and two daughters. Mrs. John and Mrs. T. L. Harris, near here. 
The family has the sympathy of a host of friends and relatives.
