Emma F. Adkinson, 102, Troy, AL. died Friday, Jan 24 1997, at her 
residence following a lengthy illness. Funeral services were held 
Sunday, Jan. 26, 1997, at Enon Baptist church with the Rev. Jack Wilks 
officating. Kent Funeral Home of Clayton, AL. directed.
Adkinson was born Sept. 9, 1894, in Pike County. She was the daughter of 
the late Issac Jackson and Frances Rebecca Wilks McLendon. She was formerly 
of Clayton, AL. but lived in Troy for the past nine years. She is survived 
by her daughter, Frances Davenport: six grandchildren: 18 great-grandchildren 
and 19 great-great grandchildren
