C. O. Smith Passes Away
Charlie Oscar Smith, 65 of Clio died Tuesday in Clio.
The funeral was at 3 pm. Friday at the Antioch Baptist Church. 
The Rev. Shelly Helms officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery, 
Holman Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include his widow Mrs Eva Smith; one daughter, 
Mrs. Maurice Andrews, Hinesville, Fla.; one son, Dowling Smith, Clio, 
two brothers, Tillman D. and Phillip B. Smith, both of Ozark, 
four sisters, Mrs. Cochran Thurman, Scottsboro, 
Mrs. Inez Spears, Edgewater Beach, Fla., Miss Calvin Smith, Ashford and 
Mrs. Fate Carter Gainesville, Fla.; two grandchildren.
