Whittington Last Rites Set

C. A. Whittington, 81 of Trentum, dies in a Troy hospital Tuesday.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Friday at St. John's Baptist Church. 
The Rev. Ed Matthews and the Rev. J. E. Plant officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery, Jackson Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include a son L. B. Whittington, Brundidge; five daughters, 
Mrs. Myrtice Conner, Orlando, Fla. Mrs. Henry C. Ray, Abilene, Tex., 
Mrs. Rose Shiver, Mrs. Elma Fleming, both of Brundidge and 
Mrs. Woodruff Goocher, Miami, Fla.; two brothers, 
E. W. Whittington, Robertsdale and M. A. Wittington Brundidge; 
two sisters, Mrs. Annie Conner, Brundidge, and Mrs. Dollie Anderson, Troy; 
12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
