William's son John Harvey married my grandmother when he was 38 and she was 18. They had
four children (one was my father) and then he died in a horse and wagon accident at 42.
I have traced this grandmother's line back to the early 1600's. They were Madaris' (Medeiros, Mediras, etc)
from Portugal believed to have grown tobacco in Virginia.
